L&RGU "Mercury Cup" Rules

<p>In the event of a tie for the Leicester Mercury Challenge Cup or Leicester Mercury Scratch Cup the winner will be decided by count back local rule. A prize winner must be present to receive their prize at the presentation ceremony, unless having been granted special leave by the L.&amp;R.G.U. If not, they will be disqualified, and the prize will be awarded to the competitor present with the next best score.A competitor may only win one of the above prizes.</p>
<p>The tournament is open to members of all golf clubs in the Leicestershire &amp; Rutland Golf Union with a Handicap Index of <strong>25.0 or less for entry and use.</strong> Entries must be made on entry forms which will be available at golf clubs and online.</p>
