The 2013 L&RGU Boys Strokeplay and Matchplay Championships will take place at The Leicestershire Golf Club on Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th and Friday 16th August.

Stroke Play: 36 Holes Wednesday 14th August

Match Play: Thurs 15th & Fri 16th August

Open to boys under 18 years of age on 1st January 2013 who are members of a golf club affiliated to the L&RGU.

Entrance fee: £15.00 (includes lunch)

The Stroke Play Championship will be played over 36 holes and the Match Play Championship over rounds of 18 holes.

The leading 16 from the 36 holes Stroke play qualify if available for the Match Play Championship. In the event of a tie(s) for 1st and/ or 16th place a ‘sudden death’ play-off will resolve the situation.

The tournament will be limited to 60, over subscription will be resolved by handicap ballot. The medal rounds will qualify for handicapping purposes. No caddies will be allowed. Closing date Sunday 28th July 2013. The draw will be sent to clubs and published on www.lrgu.co.uk
